NorthWestern Energy Issues a Call for Company Memorabilia

As part of its year-long centennial celebration, NorthWestern Energy is working with the Butte-Silver Bow Public Archives to organize a large display of Montana Power memorabilia beginning in September, and the company extends an invitation to all retirees, former employees or their family members to consider loaning their personal company-related collections for display.

"Under the careful and professional guidance of the archives staff, we will collect, protect, display and return all items to the individuals who allow us to use them for the display," said Claudia Rapkoch, director – Corporate Communications. "We have a collection ourselves but want to give others a chance to be part of this exciting effort to showcase pieces of the company’s history in one of Butte’s premier galleries."

Rapkoch added that the display will be open to the public from September through December to commemorate Montana Power’s incorporation date of Dec. 12, 1912.
