Vann’s loses credit line; bankruptcy filing possible

Just a month after bringing in an outside chief executive officer to help restructure its operations, Vann’s Inc. http://www.vanns.com announced Thursday it has lost its credit line from a major lender.

The Missoula-based appliance and electronics retailer’s CEO, Jerry McConnell, said the company is now searching hard to find a lender to replace the credit line to help it avoid filing for bankruptcy.

In the meantime, operations will continue as usual and no employees will be affected, McConnell said.
