Ravalli County Economic Development Authority holds ceremony to celebrate success of businesses

Starting a small business in a semi-rural valley in a tough economy can be a scary proposition. That’s why anytime an entrepreneur is successful in the Bitterroot Valley, it’s cause for celebration.

On Tuesday morning, the Ravalli County Economic Development Authority http://www.rceda.org/ board of commissioners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in conjunction with officials from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to celebrate four businesses that have found success with the help of USDA.

In front of a gathering of government representatives and local business leaders, RCEDA executive director Julie Foster introduced the four projects and businesses.

"It’s important to recognize entrepreneurship in the valley," she said. "And the RCEDA and the USDA are pleased to support our businesses with many different programs."
