The Director of Technology and Media Communications will be the primary advocate for the effective use of instructional technologies in the Phyllis J. Washington College of Education and Human Sciences while providing a quality customer service experience to all users of technology. Position is responsible for credible technology planning, procurement, maintenance, and training where appropriate.

The person in this position must be attentive to emerging technologies including mobile technologies and the iPad, as well leveraging the overlap between College-maintained equipment and services with those owned by the students. This position will monitor trends and technological aspects of online teaching while always seeking ways to increase the effectiveness of distance education pursuant to the Mission of the College.
