Great Falls Development Authority — Centene continues to provide, expand medical claims business in Great Falls, Montana

Recruiting the medical claims processing company Centene http://www.centene.com/ to open a center in Great Falls in 2004 involved a partnership of the city, Great Falls Development Authority and the Montana Board of Investments.

With the center promising 250 jobs with good wages and benefits, its final site selection of Great Falls was considered an early coup at the time for the newly renamed GFDA.

Other cities around the country courted Centene, but Great Falls leaders pitched the available land for a building near the Benefis East campus and the city’s strong work force.

"Centene has been a fantastic addition to Great Falls," said Brett Doney, who became Great Falls Development Authority http://www.greatfallsdevelopment.org/
president two years after Centene was recruited. "Centene has been a great employer that invests in its people with on-going training. It’s a great corporate citizen involved with a lot of community projects."
