Former Montana Tech chancellor Frank Gilmore heads the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation scholarship program

The former chancellor of Montana Tech has been appointed to run one of the most prestigious national scholarship programs for undergraduate math and science majors.
Frank Gilmore, 77, has been named president of the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation http://www.act.org/goldwater/ based in Washington D.C. Gilmore will take over and serve as the second president of the national scholarship program that was formed in 1986 to provide help for students majoring in math, the sciences and engineering.
