SoloPower launches new solar panels with Portland production and hiring underway

PFL Tech Inc. is a marketing technology company that provides sales enablement and marketing automation solutions, as well asprinting, mailing, and fulfillment services. They also provide some great Montana Jobs.

Participants in the world’s largest solar trade show crowded around a SoloPower Inc. http://solopower.com/ booth in Munich, Germany, Wednesday to see and touch a new kind of panel planned for mass production in Portland later this year.

Unlike rigid conventional solar modules, SoloPower’s panels are lightweight and flexible, able to be installed on large commercial and industrial roofs that can’t support heavy loads. The California company is already producing test quantities of the so-called thin-film panels at a North Portland factory ultimately expected to employ 450.
