Meet David Mirisch: Mirisch has been publicist to the stars and now calls Montana home

David Mirisch http://www.facebook.com/people/David-Mirisch/1039034727 has worked with more big-time athletes and entertainers than maybe anyone else in the state of Montana.

Take a peek at his website http://www.davidmirisch.com/ and you’ll swear the rural Huson resident is Kilroy in the flesh. Muhammed Ali, Wayne Gretzky, Wilt Chamberlain, Hank Aaron, John McEnroe, Fred Couples … as an international promoter he’s dealt with most of the best in the most significant sports.

On top of that, the former Southern Californian has been affiliated with the entertainment industry for more than 50 years. He has worked with Ol’ Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, and handled the public relations careers of stars like Merv Griffin, Johnny Mathis, Raquel Welch, Perry Como and Farrah Fawcett.

A Montanan since November, the 76-year-old Mirisch, a tireless philanthropist who has organized more than 2,500 charity events, sat down with the Missoulian recently to talk about his career and vision.
