Helena-based Montana Community Finance gives small businesses a lift

Montana Community Finance http://www.mtcommunityfinance.org/ taps the federal Small Business Administration 504 loan program to lend money across the state to businesses looking to buy or improve buildings or purchase significant pieces of equipment. The loans, typically long-term with a low down payment, offer a fixed interest rate not always available through banks or other lenders, says Linda Kindrick, the executive director at Montana Community Finance.
