April 10, 2012 /
Terry Myhre, the executive director of the Helena area’s lead economic development organization for the past four years, plans to retire next month.
Myhre, 62, joined the Montana Business Assistance Connection http://www.mbac.biz/ in 2008 after serving as the manager of the Dillard’s store in the Capital Hill Mall since 1992.
Myhre will stay on the job through May 31, in part to help with a transition to a new executive director.
"I think it’s just a good time," Myhre said of his retirement plan. He said he hopes to spend more time with his wife and grandchildren and has no other immediate plans.
