Missoula County Public Schools Needs Your Help To Better Prepare Our Youth For Careers And College – Please Take This Short Survey.

Missoula County Public Schools seeks community feedback for an exciting project to connect high school students with the business community and/or retired professionals.

Connecting student learning to "real world" experiences is one of the key components to our 21st Century Model of Change and Graduation Matters Missoula.

MCPS is working with volunteers from PartnersCreative and CTA Architects Engineers, as well as a management information systems class at The University of Montana, to construct a prototype website that will allow students and staff to more easily find business professionals.

We are looking for subject area experts who are willing to speak to senior high classes about their areas of expertise, to mentor students for senior projects or other independent study, to provide job shadows, to allow site tours, to offer student internship opportunities and/or to provide other innovative ways to share their expertise.

The following survey aims to gauge the business community’s interest in participating collaborating with MCPS to better prepare our youth for careers and college — as well as to help determine website features that can facilitate efficient student / teacher / business professional communication. The survey should take five minutes and your input will greatly influence how we develop this important tool for 21st Century learning.
