Montana Ambassador – "Michael P. Malone – Educator of the Year: Dr. Waded Cruzado, President, Montana State University http://www.montana.edu/ Award for representing outstanding accomplishment, excellence and leadership in the Field of Education.

Dr. Cruzado has brought a higher sense of pride and innovation to the MSU campus which, as she likes to highlight, covers the entire state of Montana. Her focus on the Land Grant College development as a main reason that the U. S. has the best education system in the world was inspiring as she came from a Land Grant University in her native Puerto Rico. Her reading of a quote from Thomas Jefferson on the importance of education was deeply moving. (We’re trying to find it and will add it to this post)

It was in inspirational night for those focusing on moving Montana forward.
