University of Montana starts veteran mentoring program

For many veterans on the University of Montana campus without inside information from experienced friends, finding class assistance, information on veterans’ benefits or just someone to talk to at school is a daunting task.

Curry Health Center and the UM Veterans Education and Transition Services (VETS) office looked to make it easier to find information when they teamed up this week to begin the process of starting a new mentoring program for veterans with the working title "Optimal Vet."
