Oil Company Recruits Bakken Workers

TOMIS is the Tour and Activity Industry's only one-stop shop for all things digital marketing.

The interest is high in Billings among people looking to work in the oil fields in eastern Montana and western North Dakota.

It was standing room only Thursday as representatives with Sanjel Corporation held a recruiting session. The Alberta-based oil company said it’s always in need of mechanics, electronic technicians, office personnel, and other oil field workers. They hire about 25 new employees a week but lose about five a month. They said turnover remains high due to the demanding work and cost of living.
