Staff Accountant

Based in Missoula, MT, the Cost Accountant will be responsible for the ongoing development, analysis and reporting of standard cost system. He/she will be responsible for the completeness, accuracy, timeliness and quality of monthly, quarterly and annual cost reporting and analysis, as well as monthly budget variance analysis. The person will report to the Silicon Business Unite Controller and work closely with the Cost Accounting Team in the corporate office. They should have a working knowledge of a manufacturing environment in order to understand the challenges facing the business. The position requires managing several tasks and projects simultaneously and shifting priorities as the demands of the business evolve.

Analytical Engineer Scientist

GT Advanced Technologies is currently seeking an Analytical Engineer/Scientist. This person will assist customers with a functional design of their laboratory analytical facility; educate the customer as to the various analytical methods including equipment; sample preparation; analytical testing; and various activities to confirm product quality. This person will also assist the customer in defining our recommended education and experience requirements for their analytical lab personnel. As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, assist customers in evaluating new customer analytical processes to ultimately yield consistent levels of accuracy, precision and tolerances in their analytical methodology. Travel, mostly international, up to 40% will be required.

Experienced Electrical Engineer

Identify requirements of and create specifications for complex industrial power equipment; then, supervise the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of that equipment. Applies principals and techniques of electrical engineering to solve problems and accomplish goals. Travel, including international, will be required.

Sr. Process Engineer

GT Advanced Technologies is currently seeking a Sr. Process Engineer. This person will utilize process engineering and other technical expertise to evaluate, design and implement projects which support existing production facilities. The ideal candidate will provide technical support and training to GT Advanced Technologies’ internal and external customers. International travel will be required for this role.
