City Club Missoula – U.S. District Court Judge Molloy: Discussion over justice system reforms needed

U.S. District Court Judge Donald Molloy believes its time for the country to have a "civil discourse" outside of the political arena about making serious long-range reforms in the American criminal justice system.

Molloy is perhaps best known for his landmark civil rulings in the environmental arena on cases involving Libby asbestos, timber management, fire fighting and of course wolves, which has put him in the cross hairs of controversy.

But during a speech to Missoula’s City Club http://www.cityclubmissoula.org Monday, the now senior-federal judge turned his focus inward, suggesting its time for the country to have a serious review of its federal justice system.
