Four-Star General Wesley Clark to Speak at Montana State University on March 5

General Wesley Clark, one of the most prominent and decorated military leaders in the United States, will be speaking at MSU Monday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. http://www.montana.edu/leadership/index.html

Clark, a retired Army general, has been awarded numerous honors and declarations, including the Silver Star, Purple Heart, the State Department’s Distinguished Service Award and the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian award in the United States. Internationally, he has received honorary knighthoods from both the British and Dutch governments and is highly acclaimed for providing knowledgeable insight into global current events.

From 1997 to 2000, Clark served as the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe of NATO, the central command of NATO military forces. During that time, he commanded significant operations in the Kosovo War, eventually leading to the end of the Yugoslav Wars.
