Portable device to detect disease in 30 minutes

Cornell researchers will combine two inventions to develop a handheld detector that is able to quickly identify pathogens, such as tuberculosis, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and HIV, even under harsh conditions like those that exist in developing countries.
