Nampa, Idaho business incubator to expand – The TECenter

A Boise State University business incubator in Nampa is expanding in size and mission to help the economy.

The TECenter http://www.bsutecenter.com/ , which usually helps start-ups and newly established businesses get their legs, is planning to renovate 11,500 square feet of now-empty space in its building at 5465 East Terra Linda Way to house more-mature small businesses looking to expand, said John Glerum, the center director.

The center has about 20 clients now. They pay about $12 a square foot for space. They get free help in developing their businesses.

TECenter officials are looking for older, fast-growing small businesses with at least five employees to fill the space. About 7,500 square feet is still available. For information, go to http://www.bsutecenter.com or call Glerum at 208-562-3600.
