Wyoming broadband survey looking for service gaps

The Wyoming Business Council is asking residents of the state’s northwest corner to help identify gaps in broadband Internet service, a move that could help close service loopholes in the future.

Leah Bruscino, northwest regional director for the Wyoming Business Council in Powell, said the survey http://www.wyomingdashboard.org/node/434 is part of a statewide effort to map current broadband access in Wyoming and to identify the Internet needs of businesses, health care and the general public.

"What we’re trying to do with this survey is identify the needs and the adequacy of broadband," Bruscino said. "If there are needs for faster Internet or different services, we’re hoping it will be identified through this survey."
