Loan collateral offered for Idaho small businesses

The federal government has awarded more than $13 million to an Idaho agency to help businesses increase their collateral for loans.

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association http://www.ihfa.org is accepting applications for small businesses as part of the Small Business Jobs Act that Congress passed in 2010 to help spur hiring. The loans could help finance start-up costs, provide working capital, pay for acquisitions or expansion, and other needs.
