Missoula Development Park weathers tough economy, 60 percent full
November 25, 2011 /
It’s been nearly two decades since Missoula County launched the Missoula Development Park http://www.co.missoula.mt.us/dev_park/ , and the 446-acre industrial hub sandwiched between Interstate 90 and Missoula International Airport has weathered the tough times well.
Today, the park is more than 60 percent full. The almost 50 businesses operating there include a golf bag manufacturer, hotels, car dealers and a cutting-edge biochemical company.
But the park hasn’t been totally immune to tough economic times, with a lull in lot sales over the past three years, and more lots coming onto the market.
