Computer Institute of the Rockies launches CIR Security.

The Computer Institute of the Rockies (CIR) has launched a new branch called CIR Security. A team of computer,
security, financial, legal and healthcare specialists is now on hand to provide information technology protection.

CIR Security specializes in helping physicians and small healthcare facilities comply with the Health Insurance and
Portability and Accountability Act. HIPAA requires increased security and privacy procedures to protect patient health
information.

CIR Security reviews client offices to determine which areas need HIPAA modifications, assists them with
making changes, and provides training to help clients understand HIPAA’s regulations.

CIR Security also helps non-healthcare clients create and maintain secure computer networks and Web sites. For more
information about HIPPA and computer security, visit http://www.EndHack.com, call 449-4499, or email [email protected].
Some of the CIR Security team, are, from left, Brad Smith (R.N.), Mandy White, Bob Rowe and Brian Coplin.
