Six Idaho companies train, compete to increase exports

Rekluse Motor Sports of Boise, with its plan to expand sales into Germany and France, won the Export Excellence training program http://209.161.21.94/index.cfm?fuseaction=content.view&page=88 led by a group of Idaho export professionals.

Export Excellence, set up as a competition, coaches companies to customize an export action plans. This year, each company was assigned an expert from the Idaho District Export Council with assistance from an intern in Boise State University’s International Business Program. Companies also had access to experts from the U.S. Commercial Service, the Idaho Department of Agriculture, the Idaho Department of Commerce and the Idaho Manufacturing Extension Partnership.

Rekluse won a Gold Key from the U.S. Commercial Service, a program of the U.S. Department of Commerce that provides prequalified appointments for an Idaho company in an international market of the company’s choosing.
