What Did the Nobel Laureate Tell the Super Committee?

Nobel Prize-winning economist James Heckman has written the Congressionally-mandated Joint Committee on Deficit Reduction with a simple message http://www.heckmanequation.org/content/resource/letter-joint-select-committee-deficit-reduction . Invest in high-quality early education. It echoes the message Heckman conveyed last year in a 12-page letter http://eyeonearlyeducation.org/2010/11/16/nobel-laureate-to-debt-panel-invest-in-early-education/ to the bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Reform created by President Obama.
