Kaiser Family Foundation Commits $22-Million for Early Education

The George Kaiser Family Foundation http://www.gkff.org/ announced a $22-million grant Tuesday to support early-childhood education in its Tulsa, Okla., writes the Tulsa World.

The pledge to the Community Action Project of Tulsa County provides matching funds for a state pilot program to expand the organization’s early-learning centers for children of low-income families.

The Kaiser foundation has provided $114-million to the Community Action Project’s early-education programs since 2004.
