Unclear whether layoffs, hires or both will follow Oracle acquisition of RightNow in Bozeman, Montana

Some in the community are wondering whether Oracle’s acquisition of RightNow Technologies http://www.rightnow.com , once completed, will result in layoffs for certain employees in Bozeman.

Analysts said it’s possible some at RightNow could lose their jobs, but they can’t anticipate what will actually happen.

"Oracle never gives any guidance in terms of what to expect," said Frank Scavo, president of the Irvine, Calif., consulting firm Strativa.
