Survey: Idahoans say state needs better, faster Internet service – now slowest in the nation

The survey follows a nationwide study by Pando Networks that ranked Idaho slowest in the country in Internet speed.

Reliable, fast and affordable broadband Internet service and infrastructure are key to Idaho’s economic development, according to a statewide survey by the Idaho Technology Council.

The ITC conducted the online survey from Sept. 14 to Sept. 23. The group surveyed 426 Idahoans to determine their level of satisfaction with broadband and wireless Internet service, and whether the state needs to strengthen those services.
