The Yellowstone Business Partnership Cooperative center gets grant to aid businesses

The MDT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program encourages and supports the participation of companies owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals in transportation contracts.

The Yellowstone Business Partnership Linx http://www.yellowstonebusiness.org/transportation/linx/ works to unite businesses in the region of Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks that are dedicated to preserving a healthy environment and shaping a prosperous and sustainable future for communities in the region.

"When we formed in 2003, one of the first critical issues for the area that came up was transportation," said Janice Brown, the executive director of YBP.

There were public- and private- transportation entities in the area operating independently, but there wasn’t connectivity for users.
