Vision Net Attracting National Attention – Key attribute: the company’s "Montana-ness"

Montana-based Vision Net Providing Tech Expertise and More to Businesses Across the Country

You’re an east coast telecommunications company working with clients across the country. Business is booming and you realize you need some very specialized expertise to meet your customers’ needs. Where to turn?

Montana. More specifically, Vision Net (http://www.vision.net), a Montana-based company providing a range of high-tech, telecommunications services to clients across the state and the country. Think videoconferencing, a 24/7 call center, network support, network engineering and broadband network services. But that’s not all. Many of Vision Net’s out-of-state clients cite one more key attribute: the company’s "Montana-ness."

According to Vision Net Network Operations Manager Ed Hassell, out-of-state clients are embracing what they see as a unique selling proposition. "They continually comment on Montana’s business-friendly environment," he says. "And, they like that we are American-based."

Award-winning American Support, based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is one such company. Vision Net provides American Support with 24/7 Call Center and tech support. In layman’s terms, this means that when an American Support client picks up the phone for assistance, he’s calling Great Falls-based workers to get it.

American Support CEO Matt Zemon says he appreciates working with a Montana company. "Montana is incredibly business friendly and Vision Net is able to access world-class infrastructure and people going in all 4 directions."

Bandwidth, a Raleigh, NC-based company, is also tapping into Vision Net and all things Montana. Director of Service Delivery Mike Anderson says Vision Net fits perfectly with Bandwidth’s core values. "We like that they pair their significant expertise with down home values," he says. "They boast a team of service professionals who are very skilled at what they do yet are still eager and willing to learn the best way to work with us. And, they’re incredibly nice. That might sound like a simple thing, but it’s quite important when considering they’re acting as our front lines, fielding calls and assisting our customers."

Also important was working with an American company. "There are so many Americans who need and want jobs," says American Support’s Zemon. "We feel it would be irresponsible to send the work elsewhere."

Bandwidth has a similar philosophy. "We believe that you can keep work in this country and still provide great service in a competitive market," Anderson says. "Vision Net allowed us to do that and to do it well."

So, Vision Net, with offices in Great Falls, Billings and Missoula, is showing the rest of the country what Montanans already know: That Montana "thing," paired with significant expertise, makes for a great working relationship. For more on Vision Net, visit http://www.vision.net
