Great Falls Development Authority approves preliminary draft strategic plan
October 6, 2011 /
The Great Falls Development Authority http://www.gfdevelopment.org/ board approved the preliminary draft for its next strategic plan after considerable discussion Wednesday.
The plan includes seven major themes, with particular goals for the first two years in each theme. The ideas were derived from two recent brainstorming sessions, GFDA President Brett Doney said.
Several directors, including Cascade County Commissioner Joe Briggs, questioned one suggested goal, to attract national retailers as part of the theme of developing and revitalizing downtown Great Falls, the riverfront and commercial corridors.
