Montana Community Development Corporation Lands New Resource for Montana

Montana’s senior U.S. Senator Max Baucus announced today Montana Community Development Corporation in Missoula has received a $585,000 loan from the U.S. Treasury through the Small Business Lending Fund.

Baucus’ Small Business Jobs Act of 2010 established the new fund to allow community banks and community development financial institutions to increase lending to small businesses.

"Small businesses provide the lion’s share of Montana jobs and truly are the engine of our economy. Montana Community Development Corporation has a great track record of supporting small businesses and this funding will go a long way in helping even more businesses create jobs and succeed," Baucus said.
