The Computer Systems Analyst I will design, construct, maintain and support software in the Banner suite of systems and associated centralized administrative information systems at UM. This position may work on independent projects under the guidance of a team lead or on team projects as a significant contributor. The analyst is expected to design and construct moderate to complex software according to specification and programming standards, troubleshoot system and software problems, and perform project leadership functions on small projects or assist in the leadership of moderate to large projects. Duties include but are not limited to: programming; analysis and design; evaluating and testing new software tools at the direction of project leaders and produce meaningful, unbiased reports on this evaluation; communicating and collaborating with system administrators within IT and across campus
