Great Falls airport wooing new low-cost carrier

A small Great Falls delegation met Thursday with route planners for a low-cost airline carrier in hopes of using business incentives to lure the carrier to Great Falls next summer.

Great Falls Airport Director John Faulkner asked that the meeting place and name of the airline not be disclosed, since the route planners can’t make a commitment for their corporate executives.

The Great Falls delegation also asked that full details of the Great Falls Chamber of Commerce portion of the incentive package not be disclosed because there are many other airports in Montana and across the country, competing for additional routes.
