MSU-Great Falls ranks highest among 280 two-year schools in U.S.
Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology http://www.msugf.edu/ is at the cusp of achieving great things, according to statements Dean Joe Schaffer made during convocation Wednesday morning.
The two-year college has seen a 37 percent increase in enrollment over the last four years and has a 54 percent retention rate of students, which ranks among the highest of 280 other two-year colleges around the country that participated in that study. The college has seen a 55 percent increase in three years on the number of workforce degrees and certificates earned and has a 68 percent job placement rate, among other statistics Schaffer pointed out at the beginning of his address to faculty, staff and community partners.
"It’s clear the college really is in a good state," he said. "Much of the mark we make is going to be in how we move into the future."
