As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside Reserve staff to remove unneeded fence that impedes wildlife migration and help improve Reserve lands. Our knowledgeable staff and other experts will provide insight into the region’s diverse wildlife and history each evening. The event will conclude with a finale picnic, where you’ll join new friends to watch hundreds of elk bugling during their annual mating ritual, known as the rut.
