Local manufacturer receives economic development loan

The Montana Department of Commerce recently awarded a $400,000 economic development Community Development Block Grant to the City of Ronan for support of OPE, Inc., a local manufacturer.

The loan funds will be managed by the Lake County Community Development Corporation and once they are repaid by OPE, Inc. the funds will be available for re-lending to other businesses in the area.

Outdoor Power Equipment, Inc. (OPE, Inc.) is a licensed affiliate of CORE Motion, Inc., owners of an advanced energy and motion technology developed locally in the Mission Valley over the past eight years.
