Western Governors Accept Report on Strategies to Address Water Infrastructure Needs

Facing record flooding and failing levees in a number of states, while others are afflicted by drought and devastating wildfires, Western governors have accepted a report on strategies to address water infrastructure needs prepared by the Western States Water Council.
The report addresses identifying, prioritizing and financing water-related infrastructure needs related to flood control, agricultural, municipal and industrial water supply and wastewater treatment, water quality protection, water conservation and reuse, and navigation.
