Grant to fund Montana Artrepreneur Program

Montana artists don’t exactly have a business school of their own to learn how to market themselves, but a new grant will do exactly that.

The Ravalli County Economic Development Authority has been awarded a $175,105 grant to support the Montana Art Council’s development of a three-year job skills program.

The grant comes from the U.S. Department of Agriculture; the Ravalli County group is one of 44 community-based organizations across the country to receive funding aimed at strengthening rural communities.
