Governor Schweitzer: Montana has $366 million in the bank

Governor Brian Schweitzer announced that the state has $366 million in the bank.

"It is more good news for Montana. We have one of the best cash positions in the history of the state," said Governor Schweitzer.

Throughout the economic downturn Montana has been able to maintain a strong cash position, while other states have been forced to make difficult decisions. Currently, the state’s cash position is nearly $150 million over projections.
