Montana Career Opportunity – IT Support Technician- Butte, MT

This is a lead technical support position within IT Support Services and the primary role is to insure proper operation of internal customers’ job related technology tools.

This includes but is not limited to computer desktop systems, related desktop peripherals, point of sale computerized systems, digital video surveillance computer systems, and other computer related systems in a manner that insures adequate performance of essential job duties by our customers, vendors, and insures the success of our business objectives.

Successful technicians will be able to resolve a minimum of sixty percent of their support issues after they are full trained, be able to work in busy and high paced support desk environment, and perform a wide variety of support duties form general support issues, hardware staging and configuration of Windows based computer systems and peripherals, general computer repair and maintenance (hardware and software), perform basic inventory record keeping duties relating to IT equipment and parts, and interact with a wide variety of computer software systems. Successful support services technician will have advanced abilities in operating system and application scripting languages being able to write, debug, and troubleshoot support scripts to automate many of the daily IT support tasks.
