Most Montana graduates stay in state, study says

Some Montanans want to put an end to the perception that the state has a "brain drain."

"You hear it all the time, ‘We need to export something other than kids,’ " said Jane Wolery. "We’re hearing the brightest and best leave. Some of that is more perception than reality."

Wolery is an extension agent in Teton County and member of Leadership Montana, a program aimed at developing leaders and propelling Montana’s prosperity through networking and business and policy education.
