School Principals Crucial to Student Outcomes
New NGA Center Issue Brief Links Principal Effectiveness to Student Results
Effective principals improve the retention of our best teachers and the outcomes of students, according to a new issue brief released today by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center).
While every school can benefit from an effective school principal, the quality of leadership is particularly important in schools that are chronically low-performing.
