Canada could save billions with telework initiatives

Twice weekly telecommuting could save Canadian companies, employees and the community over $53 billion a year, reduce greenhouse gas by the equivalent of taking 385,000 cars off the roads and save about 390 million litres of gas, according to the country’s first major national white paper on telework.
