Update on 2011 FRED Conference in May

This may be one of the last days to book cheap air travel
into Fairfield, Iowa for the FRED Conference and Economic Gardening
Boot Camp from May 4-7. Go to http://www.FredConference.com for more details.

We have a stellar line up of participants from across the country –
Arizona, Wisconsin, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota . This event has
turned into one of the best group think tanks on economic gardening
and entrepreneurial development.

Some of the notable presentations include:

• Sauk County Wisconsin Economic Gardening Project Final Report by Sue
Gleason of SyzyGy50

• Small Town Success Strategies by Dave Ivans, Michigan State
University

• Economic Gardening for the Immigrant Class – Dr. Corneila Flora,
Iowa State University

• Cutting Edge Economic Gardening strategies from global experts –
Galaxy Ninja Group, SomaStream and Alan Martin

• Increasing Your Innovation IQ – How to change the community
conversation on entrepreneurship and innovation, by yours truly.

You may find cheaper airfare into ORD or STL and connect via commuter
airline http://www.AirChoice.com. They offer $25 flight each way but only offer 2
flights a day from Chicago and St. Louis so connections may be tricky.

Moline (MLI) is your best bet from the east coast. Des Moines (DSM)
are usually better fares from the west. Cedar Rapids (CID) is a little
closer but flights are usually higher.
