The full Appropriations Committee by a vote of 15-6 voted to move HB 439 http://data.opi.mt.gov/bills/2011/billhtml/HB0439.htm from the committee to the full House for consideration of passage. HB 439 is a bonding bill which includes projects in many Montana cities. In order for HB 439 to pass, the members of House of Representatives need to hear from you that this is an important bill. This bill is a "works" bill. The bonding bill will finance some of the only major works projects currently being proposed in cities like Missoula, Havre, Butte, and Billings.

Please contact your Representative today. The vote on the House floor for HB 439 could be on Wednesday or Thursday. Important to the Montana University System are projects in Missoula, (College of Technology to relieve the overcrowded conditions 2400 plus students in a facility designed for 700), Science building at MSU Billings, classroom renovation at MSU Bozeman, continuing work on Main Hall at UM Western in Dillon, and an Auto Tech Center at MSU Northern.
