Parents: Partners in success

ometimes amid the bustle of a busy school year, we can lose sight of a very important point: We are all in this together; we are all on the same team.

Parents, teachers, administrators and support staff are at our best when we work side by side toward the mutual goals of teaching our children and helping them grow into responsible, self-sufficient young adults.

Sure, conflicts arise from time to time – that’s inevitable – but what’s most important is how we choose to resolve them. To borrow from an old Girl Scout song, we "can’t go over them, can’t go under them … gotta go through them" – that’s life.
