Wyoming economic development business group disbands after 40 years

An economic development organization has disbanded in Powell after 40 years of promoting land deals in business parks.

The slow economy took a toll on the group Target Powell Valley and the nonprofit has run out of money.

Target Powell Valley has agreed to transfer the nonprofit’s $1.5 million in deeds to a local bank in lieu of foreclosure.
