Bozeman developing website to provide information for new businesses – Video

Bozeman city leaders are developing a new website to help spur the local economy.

They’re calling it the Gallatin Business Resource Network. The site centers around an idea for job growth called economic gardening; an idea seems to be gaining traction with city leaders.

Economic gardening suggests rather than spending time and resources trying to get large out of state businesses to relocate to Bozeman-city leaders should work to create better conditions for small local businesses to start and to grow.

Sometimes, that goal can be as simple as spreading information.
