A philosopher once said we should view the world from the perspective of eternity. It is easy to appreciate that sentiment if you live in Northwest Montana. We are surrounded by mountain ranges that are millions of years old.
When the transfer of Plum Creek’s 310,000 acres to The Nature Conservancy and the Trust for Public Land closed its final phase in December, some very old and precious ecosystems were protected. And a new cooperative partnership was created that will benefit our communities for a long time.
